LAHORE: The Punjab government has announced the introduction of the first e-taxi service in the province, which will not only improve travel facilities on modern lines but will also play an important role in reducing environmental pollution.
According to government sources, this e-taxi service will consist of modern electric vehicles, which are completely environment-friendly and run without using any fuel. These vehicles will not only reduce the cost of petrol and diesel, but also reduce the problem of air pollution in urban areas.
With the launch of e-taxi service, the common citizens will be provided better and cheaper travel facility. Electric taxis will have lower fares than conventional taxis, as they do not require petrol or diesel.
